So... what are the arguments against socialism? From the bit I know about it, it seems preferable.
People want change without actually having change. It's like, ppl want everyone to be happy and on equal footing.. Have the same opportunities TRULY.. but still wish to maintain Capitalism which, in principle, centers around gaining the most from every opportunity.. which, in return, necessitates there must be a loser. It's like the money system. Creating money out of nothing. Charging interest on that money. Creating infinite debt on finite funds.
It is imperative that we awake from our apathy and confront the fact that our country is being taken from us. Our freedoms are in peril and we will stand accountable if we do not fight to preserve our rights. Start somewhere... Start here.
